You Jin

You Jin was born in 1979, in Shenyang, China.
He graduated from the Lu Run Academy of Art in 2005.
Jin lives and works in Beijing, China.

East, West. You Jin takes these two philosophical theories and, through his observation method, fuses them together. His paintings are a means of dialogue between Chinese and western painting, with our lives constantly being changed by ever-morphing circumstances. He applies traditional elements from traditional Chinese culture and iconography.
